Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world.

The Hideout Christian Learning Center is a mission of the First United Methodist Church.  It has been serving the children of Bastrop County for the past 30 years.  It is licensed under the Department of Protective and Regulatory services for children ages 0-13 years.

The Hideout offers more than just childcare, it is a place to learn and grow and to feel loved and nurtured.  It offers children’s programs five days a week  down to an hour.  It is open from 6:30am to 6pm each weekday.  The Hideout tries to accommodate the parent’s needs.  The Hideout offers lessons in each class and also offers pre-K 3 and pre-K 4 classes, preparing children for the next step.

Chapel and bible lessons are also part of the children’s week at the Hideout, helping them build a firm foundation.
